Cute craft post alert!!! I am going to show you how to make a Scrapbook Photo Frame!
I originally got the idea from looking at Memory Planners, Scrapbooking and recently when in Next, I spotted a cute ‘Bee’s Knees’ Frame. The frame had writing on, which looks so effective.
You can use any items for these decorative frames. But this is what I used:
- Frames from Ikea
- Super cute Photograph
- MAMBI Photo Stickers
- MAMBI Scrapbooking Chips
First I took the photo out from the frame, then remove the mount. On the mount I stuck some of the MAMBI Chips. These are self sticking and quite thick and mainly used for Scrapbooking. Stickers would also work well. I only stuck a few of these on the mount.
Next put the mount back in to the frame, and the picture. Then secure the back on the frame in place. I like the Ikea frames as they are a good price. Also they are very sturdy and secure.
Using the Mambi Photo Stickers, I chose some of my favourite quotes and images to stick to the glass on the frame. If you want a more simple look, you could just use the photo stickers. Even just one quote sticker, looks very effective. I designed mine on my own taste.
I recently made similar for one of Josie’s friends for her birthday. These make great personalised presents. This would be ideal for Mothers Day. Or if you didn’t want to do a photo frame, what about a scrapbook card or notebook.
Have you got any good ways of decorating photos?
