I have a slight obsession of organising and stationery. So one ideal possession to have in my mitts is a Planner! I have only gone and come across an exciting looking planner, The Happy Planner from Me and My Big Ideas. P.s…..my birthday is coming up, so my lovely husband Antony here you go 😉
I have a small collection of planners. A5 Filofax which I use for my personal everyday, I had a Personal Size but this wasn’t big enough and I am a sticker person so love the whole decorating each week. Also I have a Midori Travel Planner for sketching, Plain Planner for work, diary Unique Planner for taking around in my bag, which you can see the original review here. The only issue with my Filofax is the official inserts are not pretty, even with adding flamingo washi tape. I have tried own printouts and purchased files from Etsy, again this looked cheap. Then I wanted other sections to maybe do a Bullet Journal type, mind you I am now debating I need a separate one lol! Also I want to do recipe illustrations and keep files in my planner.
I did have the idea of doing a planner on my iPad Pro, but I am not wanting to carry this round all of the time. I may still do something similar and maybe use that for blogging planning. But for everyday planning I prefer a proper planning. From stating what activities I have that day, to meal planning…there is a satisfaction looking at my planned week and ticking jobs that have been completed.
With all of this in mind, The Happy Planner looks perfect for me. You can take it apart, add sections, vertical layouts, millions of stickers, washi tapes, pens…… The Planners come individually, or you can get gift boxed sets. I have decided I would prefer the classic size which is similar to A5, but you can also get this in Big and Mini. With the accessories available, this reminds me of a pimped up version of the Funfax Planners you used to get on the 90s from school book fairs. This is probably the reason I love the look of it so much. One added set I like the look of is The Home Planner kit.
I came across these on my new favourite website Hello Little Magpie -which you must take a look at, but be warned if you love cute stationery then this could be dangerous. I did originally have my eye on the Heidi Swapp planner, but then when I looked more into the accessories and how you can change the planner, I knew The Happy Planner was the one I really do need. One accessory I love is The Happy Planner Stamp, one option is ‘Note To Selfie’ this is just genius!
Hopefully soon I will have a little bundle to show you in a haul post. Do you like planning? What Planners do you use?
