August Glossybox

Aug GB 3

I have seen so many comments about how excellent Glossybox is, and since opening mine this morning I totally agree. This is by an amazing beauty box, this month you get 4x full size products to use. The packaging is pretty and when you take the lid off, the product is all wrapped with a bow which makes this look a very high end product.

Glossybox is a Beauty Subscription Box, priced at £10 (plus P&P) per month. You can cancel at anytime. If you choose a quarterly, or 6 month subscription you do get the box cheaper. If I am as impressed as I have been with the August Glossybox I will be signing up for quarterly first. You can just do a monthly subscription of preferred.

The box arrived within 3 days of setting up the subscription, and on first looks I totally love the packaging, it is pretty and when you take the lid off, the product is all wrapped with a bow which makes this look a very high end product.

Most contents inside this month are full sized, so these will last for a good few uses. Again these subscription boxes are a great way to see other products and brands you may not have heard off.  You can also sign up for a limited edition box, but not many are made so you have to be quick with these. The theme for this month is Global so inside are products from Spain and US to name a couple.

I will some point do reviews as I try the products, and hope to some point start video blogging so you can see in more details the products.

Contents of August Glossybox:

Naobay Calming Face Toner -First thing I loved was the wooden lid (small things and all), but this makes the product look of high quality. I have tried this and unlike other toners I have used this product didn’t sting at all or leave my face red. Was very impressed. You get a 200ml bottle which looking online is normally £10.65 alone, so for the price of a £10 Glossybox you can see how great the savings are as we have the rest of the box to go yet.

Sass Intimate Purifying Cleanser -The gentle formula helps you stay fresh all day. I took it was a facial cleanser as not heard of an intimate cleanser before, but someone kindly pointed this out lol. Gently apply to the body in the shower and rinse off. One thing I noticed is always hold to the side as when i held this vertically and opened the lid, some ran out.  Online this 100ml product is £7.50

Emite Powder Blush -This is a full sized blusher, and matches my skin tone perfectly. Online these are £20.59

MeMeMe Lip Glide -I wouldn’t normally buy this shade but after trying I love the coral tones. Very soft to use and glides on perfectly. The colour of this shade is Playful Peach. Online these are £6.95 and I will be purchasing these again. Great to see the company is not far from me in Wiltshire too. Looking online there is a great range which I am sure I will be having a shop and reviewing at a later date.

Manna Kadar Conditioning Lash Primer -This is the only product at sample size, but you still get 4gm so enough for a few uses. These are great to use as a primer to plump your lashes before using mascara, or you can use as an overnight conditioner on your lashes. Online this is £14.55

I am very impressed with the products in Glossybox, but unlike others it is a shame you can’t get these on Glossybox website. But I still would purchase the box monthly.

Inside you also get a flyer describing each product with a September sneak peak details of one of the products…. Full size Hair Mask from Maria Nila worth £18.95

Just so you know: The Sass cleanser is an intimate cleanser. It’s for your lady parts, not your face!
